Meet the Rodan Air Maintenance Inc. Team.
Each individual brings a set of unique gifts that is valued not only by the owner of Rodan Air Maintenance Inc. but mostly by our customers.
Rodan is fortunate to have such great individuals on its team.

Justin Rogers: The Visionary Behind Rodan
Justin Rogers, owner-operator of Rodan Air Maintenance Inc., has been a key figure in aviation maintenance since 1987. His career began at Summit Air Charters, where he honed his skills before joining Trans North Helicopters. When Summit Air left Whitehorse, Justin saw a gap in local maintenance services and began offering after-hours help from the back of his truck. At just 21, he founded Rodan Air Maintenance Inc., turning his passion for aviation into a trusted business.
Since then, Rodan has grown into a leader in the maintenance of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. As the PRM (Person Responsible for Maintenance) and QA (Quality Assurance) Manager, Justin ensures that all operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. His commitment to excellence and community has earned Rodan a reputation as a trusted name in aviation.

Henri Leclipteau: A Lead Engineer
Henri joined Rodan Air Maintenance in May 2019 as a fresh apprentice straight out of BCIT trade school. From day one, Henri made a significant impact. His positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the rapid development of his skills in a relatively short time have been nothing short of impressive.
Since joining, Henri has earned his M1 license and specific endorsements for the Bell 206, Rolls Royce C-20 series, and Rolls Royce C-30/47 series, further demonstrating his commitment and capability in the field. Not only does he take pride in his work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), but he also plays an integral role in maintaining the shop and supporting his colleagues, contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Henri’s dedication, work ethic, and enthusiasm make him an invaluable part of the Rodan team, and we’re confident he will continue to grow and excel in his career.

David Lozada – Aircraft Maintenance Specialist
David joined our team with an extensive background in helicopter maintenance, having worked in a variety of operations around the world. With his experience, quick wit, and hands-on skill, he quickly became a valued member of our crew.
Since then, he’s expanded his expertise into fixed-wing aircraft—especially the rugged bush planes that define Yukon aviation. Though he might not admit it, he’s often called “The Beaver Guy.”
A proud Canadian and Yukoner, David brings a mix of global experience, colorful stories, and a few mysterious accents collected from his travels. Passionate about both teaching and learning, he’s known for mentoring apprentices and inspiring peers with his straight-shooting approach and memorable sayings like “Your best is never enough.”
Rarely seen without his loyal companion, Nacho, David can be found on the hangar floor, out on the road, or off on another adventure. Outside of work, he’s an outdoor enthusiast, a dreamer, and an avid cook—always ready to share a good meal (and maybe a bad poem).
His personal philosophy? “All the gear, and no idea.”

KJ Allen – Skybound Adventurer
KJ began her aviation journey in the summer of 2019 as a Ramp Agent in Inuvik with North-Wright Airways. It was there she quickly fell in love with airplanes and the sense of adventure they inspire.
She went on to study Aviation Management at Yukon University and earned her Private Pilot Licence (PPL) through Alkan Air Flight Academy. During her time at the flight school, she also worked at the front desk, supporting instructors and students with day-to-day operations, and took every opportunity to fly friends and family, sharing her passion for flight.
In 2023, KJ joined the Rodan team, stepping into a more senior role as our Technical Records Clerk. Surrounded by books and paperwork, she keeps everything organized and compliant — but she also enjoys spending time on the floor, learning the basics of aircraft maintenance from our AMEs whenever she can.
KJ hopes to one day transition into a career as a commercial bush pilot and dreams of being the one flying aircraft into our shop for service.

Karuna Sebastian – Architect
I began my career with a foundation in Business Administration and Human Resources Management, gaining early experience across administration, finance, and customer service. Over time, I discovered a true passion for numbers and financial management, which guided my transition into bookkeeping and accounting.
In 2023, I joined Rodan, where I manage bookkeeping and payroll, support HR functions, and oversee workplace safety. My role combines accuracy, organization, and a people-first approach to ensure smooth financial and operational performance.
Looking ahead, I aim to continue growing in the field of accounting, with a long-term goal of advancing into more strategic financial management responsibilities.

Nathan Peachey – Northern Aviation Enthusiast
Nathan moved to the Yukon in September 2022 after graduating university and having spent a season with a hunting outfitter 1 year prior with the hopes of starting a life in Western Canada. His aviation career began in February 2023 as a ramp agent for Alkan Air, as his interest in Northern bush flying had sparked his interest during his time working for outfitters.
It was there that he discovered he wanted to become a pilot, having been fortunate enough to assist in many operations. Nathan joined the Rodan team in October of 2025 as the Parts Technician and has played a key role in ensuring that our parts stock is organized and inventoried within Quantum MX and Parts Base, whilst also assisting on the floor and learning about the aircraft we service.
Much like KJ, Nathan also hopes to transition into a career as a commercial bush pilot and explore the northern wilderness throughout various missions and adventures.
