About the Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M1), you'll help keep our mixed customer base of aircraft flying safely by performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance releases in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M1 category fixed-wing and rotary -wing aircraft.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and certify aircraft systems and components.
  • Complete maintenance releases and technical records accurately and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
  • Work closely with fellow AMEs, apprentices, technicians, and supervisors.
  • Mentor apprentices and share your experience to help develop future engineers.
  • Participate in occasional Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recoveries with minimal travel.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (Category M1).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Licensed AME.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently while making sound maintenance decisions.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and regulatory compliance.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts or occasional evenings and weekends when operational requirements demand.
