Hangar
Our 50 ft x 60 ft heated hangar features a 30 ft ceiling with dual hoists — perfect for quick aircraft thawing during Yukon winters.
A large mezzanine provides quarantine stores and overflow storage, complemented by a spacious administrative office.
The in-hangar hoists are used for float changes, engine replacements, and landing gear work, allowing our technicians to perform major maintenance indoors year-round.
Additional facilities include:
- External helicopter storage
- Sea-can quarantine areas for parts awaiting airworthiness inspection
- Large metal cold storage building
- Float storage and parking area on the ramp facing the runway
- Custom-built float dolly for safe, efficient movement of float-equipped aircraft around the Whitehorse airport
Parts
Our parts department has grown from a modest room to a dedicated external parts building, staffed by a Stores Technician and home to a Bell Helicopter Component Room and NiCad Battery Service Area.
Rodan maintains one of the largest general aviation parts inventories in the Yukon, with extensive fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and powerplant components.
Inventory highlights include:
- Cessna, Piper, Beaver, Robinson, Airbus, and Bell parts
- Hardware, sheet metal supplies, and specialty components
- ELT and torque wrench certifications
- NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) capabilities
Tools
Our comprehensive tool crib is equipped to service a wide range of aircraft and engines, ensuring every job can be done efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Tooling includes:
- DHC-2, Piper, Cessna, and Maule aircraft
- Lycoming, Continental (TCM), and Pratt & Whitney R-985 engines
- Hamilton Standard and Hartzell propeller tools
- Full Robinson R44 alignment kit, Bell 206/407 tools, Airbus AS350, Arriel, and LTS101 tools
- Rolls Royce C20/C30 engine tools
- MDH500 tool sets

Mobile
Rodan’s Mobile Aircraft Repair Unit — a fully outfitted RAM 3500 Promaster van — allows our technicians to bring our full maintenance capability on the road.
This mobile unit is equipped for all aircraft types within our scope of work and is regularly deployed to remote Yukon and northern BC locations including Dawson City and Dease Lake.
Our mobile team performs:
- Routine scheduled maintenance
- Field repairs and troubleshooting
- Aircraft recovery and salvage operations
